What We Believe

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God inspired by Holy Spirit. It has answers for every need of humanity.

2 Timothy 3.16-17; 2 Peter 1.20-21

The Eternal Godhead

We believe that there is one God existing eternally in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

John 10.30 John 14.9, John 14.26

Jesus

We believe that the Lord Jesus, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived on earth as a man, and was empowered by the Holy Spirit to establish God’s kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, and then resurrected and ascended into heaven. He is alive today and continues to work in, and through, those who follow Him.

Matthew 1.18-25; Matthew 3.2; Acts 1.1-11; Acts 2.32-33; 1 Peter 2.24-25

Salvation

We believe that God passionately longs for all people to know Him and walk with Him. Sin, sickness, judgment and death came into the world because of our disobedience. When we turn to Him and make Him Lord and Savior, we can receive His love, forgiveness and power in our lives.

1 John 4.8; 2 Peter 3.9; Isaiah 59.2; John 3; 1 Timothy 2.5; 2 Corinthians 5.7

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism as a way to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Jesus practiced it and commanded us to do the same.

Romans 6.4; Matthew 28.19; Matthew 3.13-17

Justification and Access

We are accepted, loved and justified by God and we have access to Him through the work of Christ on the cross. We serve Him out of our love for Him and because it is integral to our new nature in Him not to gain merit.

Romans 5.1; Romans 3.24; Ephesians 2.8-9; Acts 20.35

Serving God

Every human being was created in God’s image, to serve Him. Each of us has unique gifts and talents that He call us to develop and invest. Joy comes from serving, giving and responding to His call on our lives.

Ephesians 2.10; Romans 12.6-8; Matthew 25.14-30

Baptism in Holy Spirit

It is not enough to be born again. Every believer needs the baptism and daily infilling of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit teaches and empowers us to live close to God, to experience the supernatural and to represent Him well. Speaking in tongues is a beautiful heavenly language that bypasses the intellect and prays the will of the Father.

Luke 3.16; John 14.26; John 16.7-11; Acts 2.8; Acts 19.1-7; 1 Corinthians 14.18; Romans 8.26

Heaven and Hell

We believe that heaven is the eternal, glorious home for the followers of Christ. Hell is where people who’ve rejected Christ will abide eternally separated from God. His desire is that no one would have to suffer its torment.

Revelations 20.12-15; 2 Peter 3.9

Healing, Miracles and the Gifts of the Spirit

We believe that miraculous healing and the gifts of the Spirit are for today. Healing of the body, soul and mind are integral to establishing the kingdom on earth. We are all called to ministry with Him in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 16.17-18; 1 Corinthians 12.4-11; 1 Peter 4.10; Matthew 10.7
